The knife sets I purchased are all wedding gifts. I am second generation full time CUTCO user and have started both my daughters on them. I believe in them whole heartedly and hope these wedding gifts will get other families started on them.
I do have one comment - I passed my l9 1/2" French Chef knife onto my sister. I do not like the balance of the knife as well as I like the Calphalon Chef's knife. I am not asking you to do anything about it - just thought you might like to know.

The salad mates fit the hand as well as they cut. I don't use any other knives in the house.

I bought my entire set of Cutco knives approx. 43 years ago. We have been so pleased with them that I have bought all three of my daughters a set and am now working on a set for my daughter in law. I bought myself two of the new knives for Christmas that did not come with my set. I have sent back some for sharpening and it was fast and easy. You even replaced my kitchen scissors with the new style. We have been so pleased with these we tell all our friends about them.

Quality knives
I bought a full set of cutco knives 3 years ago and probably use these 2 knives every day. They are my mainstays in the kitchen. I ordered 2 gift sets for my siblings so they could enjoy them too. I love the quality and ease of use (and the shape of the handle seem to be a sure fit for everyone).

I have been using Cutco knives for 40 years and can't say enough about them. I have the whole set that I purchased all those years ago and have only had the paring knife sharpened one time. The salad mates are my favorite. I actually just bought another salad mate set so that I could keep one in my Pa. home and one in my Fla. home.

My daughter-in-law threatened to hold my paring knife and small carver hostage over Christmas. Lucky for her that I had already purchased both my daughters-in-law that gift set. They were so happy to get them, and now I have something wonderful to build upon for them in the future. I have had my Cutco knife set since 1977. Everyday friends!
The small paring knife and the trimmer receive daily use at my house. I use them as I prepare every meal. My old knives sit in the utensil drawers as they are not sharp enough any more. These knives were sold to me by a college student - I tried them to help her and I am happy that I did!

Wonderful Gift
The Salad Mates is a combination of my two favorite Cutco knives. The trimmer is my go to knife. The paring knife is great for the smaller jobs. I love my set so much that I have given The Salad Mates as gifts for my mother and daughters.
